Sketches by Stinchfield

Mr. Stinchfield is well known for his innumerable SKETCHES drawn for the Maine Sports Hall of Fame. A SKETCH is a traditional type drawing which portrays the essence of the subject's features. SKETCHES in pastel are color drawings on oyster colored paper and are particularly suited for young children. SKETCHES in sepia tone are drawn on tan paper with a sepia brown pencil and convey an old fashioned victorian feeling. SKETCHES in charcoal are drawn on muted white paper and remind one of the familiar pencil sketch.

Choose the type of medium you prefer (Pastel, sepia-tone, or Charcoal) and decide on the number of subjects to be in your SKETCH. Note that subjects in separate photos may be drawn together to make one SKETCH.

Look at the chart above to determine the size and price of your sketch. Note that chart prices are for head and shoulder poses. If you desire a full length pose, or more subjects, or a different size SKETCH, you may email Mr. Stinchfield for a quote. .

1. Photos of the subject(s). High quality photos are important. If you can see the subjects eyelashes, the photo is probably good quality.

2. A description which includes the subject(s) eye and hair color, the medium and the size of the SKETCH.

3. Your check or money order for the full amount (from the chart above) plus $10.00 for insurance, packaging and shipping. Maine residents please include sales tax.

Your photos will be returned to you with your sketch in 2 to 4 weeks.
